UP State Govt. has permitted 10% of the total sanctioned seats available for admission in first year in Technology / Architecture courses in private institutions affiliated to AKTU to be filled through merit of Non U.P. Domicile candidates without reservation subject to eligibility conditions given in this Information Brochure. Thus, 10% of the total sanctioned seats for admission in first year in Technology / Architecture courses in Private Institutions, affiliated to AKTU, shall be opened to the candidates whose parent belongs to the State other than Uttar Pradesh and has passed qualifying examination from an Institution located outside U.P. These seats shall be filled on the basis of UPSEE-2018 Merit.
ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR IN UPSEE-2018 FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF B.Tech. /B.Des./ B.Arch. / B. Pharm.
(i)The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be as follows:

(ii) For admission to first year of B.Tech./B.Pharm./B.Des./MCA(Integrated), candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.
(iii) For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and (ii) clearly passed without grace, each compulsory and optional subjects as given in clause (i).
(iv) A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / State Govt., is also eligible for admission to first year of B. Arch. only, and provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate without grace. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of B. Arch. Paper 4
(v) For admission to first year of B.Tech. (Agriculture), candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in agricultural subjects and secured minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate. All Eligible candidates for B. Tech. First year are also eligible for B. Tech. Agriculture.
(vi) All candidates who are eligible for admission in B. Tech. Courses are also eligible for B. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) and B. Tech. (Biotechnology).
ELIGIBILITY FOR DIRECT ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR IN PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS AT INSTITUTE LEVEL UNDER MANAGEMENT QUOTA (FOR NRI CANDIDATES) / VACANT SEATS AFTER COUNSELLING OF UPSEE-2018
(i) The 15% seats in private institutions shall be filled by the Management/ NRI quota at institute level under management quota as per eligibility criteria in clause 3.4. The vacant seats in NRI/Management quota or vacant seats after counselling of UPSEE-2018 shall be filled strictly in following preference order, within fifteen days of the last date of counselling:
(1) Firstly, by the qualified candidates of JEE (Main)-2018 fulfilling the eligibility for B. Tech. / B.Arch. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in respective entrance examinations.
(2) Secondly, by the qualified candidates of UPSEE-2018, who fulfill the eligibility. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPSEE-2018.
(3) Thirdly, by the merit of candidates in qualifying examination as laid down by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi for admission to various programmes which are updated from time to time.
(ii) Institute shall ensure filling of these vacant seats inviting the applications through advertisement in at least two leading newspapers of the State level and Institute website, giving at least one-week time to submit the applications on the University Portal. However, applicants opting B.Arch. course under this category has to appear in Aptitute Test on the day of counselling to be notified later.
IN ANY CASE NO PRIVATE INSTITUTION IS ALLOWED TO GIVE ADMISSION IN MORE THAN 25% SEATS TO STUDENTS FROM STATE OTHER THAN UTTAR PRADESH
